This website is operated by Maraman Insurance, doing business as Medicare Local Pro, a licensed insurance agency based in Tifton, Georgia, and licensed to discuss insurance products in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" refer to Maraman Insurance. "You" means any person who visits, browses or submits information through this website, or who communicates with us by phone, text message or email.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request or request a quote through this website.

3. What this website is

This website provides educational information about Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D prescription drug plans, hospital indemnity plans, life insurance and government benefit programs such as Medicaid and SNAP. This website is also a solicitation of insurance. Content on this website is general in nature. It is not a personalized recommendation, a quote, a guarantee of coverage or a promise of eligibility.

Plan availability, premiums, copays, networks, formularies and benefits vary by county and by plan year, and may change. A plan may not be available in your area. You should confirm all details directly with the plan or with us before enrolling. Enrollment is never guaranteed and depends on eligibility, service area, election period and the plan's contract renewal.

4. No government affiliation

Medicare Local Pro is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. We do not offer every plan available in your area. To see all of your options, contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY: 1-877-486-2048), or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, current and complete information when you contact us.
• Do not submit your Medicare number, Medicaid number, Social Security number, bank or card information, full date of birth, or medical record number through this website.
• Do not use this website for any unlawful purpose or attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
• Do not copy, scrape or republish our content without permission.

6. Phone calls, text messages and email

When you submit a form on this website, you may provide your phone number and email address and may check a box agreeing to be contacted. By providing that consent, you agree that Medicare Local Pro and its licensed agent may contact you at the number and email address you provide — including by telephone call, text message (SMS and MMS) and email — about your request, insurance products, benefit programs and related services. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or obtaining any service.

Message frequency varies. You may receive recurring messages related to your inquiry, appointments, reminders and follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not send text messages to phone numbers that have opted out.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in section 14. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further text messages from us. You may also ask us to stop calling or emailing you at any time. Opting out of marketing messages does not affect your existing insurance coverage, Medicare or Medicaid.

We do not sell or transfer your phone number or contact information to another marketing company for Medicare marketing without separate, prior express written consent naming that company. See our Privacy & Data Use page for how we handle your information.

7. Links to other websites

This website may link to third-party websites, including online plan comparison and enrollment tools and government resources. We do not own or control those websites and are not responsible for their content, security, accuracy or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party website is governed by that website's own terms and privacy policy. A link does not mean we endorse that website or any product offered on it.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy & Data Use page, which is part of these terms. We use information you provide to respond to your request, prepare plan comparisons, assist with applications and maintain required insurance records.

9. Content ownership

The text, layout, graphics and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Medicare Local Pro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Carrier names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

10. No warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Insurance products and government benefit programs are subject to the terms of the issuing carrier or agency, which control in the event of any conflict with this website.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medicare Local Pro and its owners, agents and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of this website, any third-party website linked from it, or any reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law or any right you have under a policy you purchase from an insurance carrier.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medicare Local Pro and its owners, agents and employees from any claim or expense arising out of your misuse of this website or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its effective date, is the current version and applies to your use of this website. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
